Eyewear from sustainable material
We create conscious eyewear choices that are made with respect for our environment – while never compromising on design, quality, or comfort. That’s why we only make eyewear from sustainable materials, produced following ethical and eco-conscious values, to reduce our environmental impact.
Recycled Aluminium
This new material is used to create lightweight, high-quality frames with a satin finish and sculpted look. Each frame is finished in a matte metallic coating that enhances the raw beauty of the aluminium. To complete the look, every frame has a magnetic sun clip-on, also made from recycled aluminium. The magnetic design allows for a seamless switch from optical to sun – without sacrificing UV protection, style or sustainability.
Using recycled metal reduces waste and pollution, saves energy, and minimizes mining emissions. Additionally, it can be recycled further without the material losing any strength or properties. Our polarized sun clip-on attachment made from Biobased material is available for all glasses of Recycled metal.

Unlike being carbon neutral, where CO₂ emissions are compensated at a one-to-one ratio, Eyelix Eyewear is carbon negative. This means that our efforts to reduce carbon emissions by planting trees actually surpass neutrality, and our trees absorb more CO₂ than our eyewear production creates.

RECYCLED PET & PAPER
Sustainability isn’t just for frames. Our cases and packaging minimize our footprint too. That’s why the fabric of each case and cleaning cloth is made from recycled PET, and all outer packaging and inserts are made from recycled paper.
bio nylon lenses
This natural and renewable material is 20% lighter than standard polycarbonate and glass lenses and is featured in all of our Bio acetate sunglasses.
cornstarch bag
Our biodegradable transport bag is made from 100% cornstarch. It might not look like much, but it’s actually the first of its kind in the eyewear industry!
RECYCLED PLASTIC DEMO LENSES
Our demo lenses are made from 99% recycled plastic while ensuring the same quality, strength and clarity as lenses made from virgin plastic. The result is yet another reduction of our carbon footprint and less waste entering the world’s landfills and oceans.
SUSTAINABILITY ON DISPLAY
We’re proud of our frames and want to show them off. And when we do, we display them on trays and stands made of 100% FSC certified bamboo or recycled paper.
